Terms of Service
Last updated: June 6, 2026
1. What this service is
Download by Link ("the Service") lets you paste public file URLs and download every file in one go. The Service is currently offered free of charge with the usage limits described below.
2. Free-tier limits
- Up to 50 links per session.
- Each file up to 50 MB.
- 200 files per day and 5 GB per day per IP address.
- Shared link batches expire after 30 days.
We may adjust these limits to keep the service reliable and free for everyone. A Pro tier with higher limits is in the works.
3. Acceptable use
You are solely responsible for the URLs you paste and the files you download. You agree to use the Service only for content you have the right to access. You must not use it to:
- Download content that infringes copyright or other rights you do not hold.
- Circumvent access controls, paywalls, or DRM.
- Download or distribute illegal, harmful, or malicious content.
- Scrape or otherwise abuse the Service in ways that disrupt it for other users.
- Attempt to bypass the rate limits or probe the Service for vulnerabilities without permission.
We may block IPs, throttle requests, or refuse service to anyone we reasonably believe is violating these terms.
4. No file storage
We do not store the files you download. They stream through our server straight to your device. We are not responsible for the contents of files hosted by third-party sources you choose to download from.
5. Service availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific link will succeed — many failures depend on upstream hosts (Google Drive, Reddit, GitHub, etc.) and their availability.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Download by Link is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Direct damages are limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim — which, on the free tier, is zero.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
